Ustinov's student body is collectively known as the GCR (short for Graduate Common Room). It comprises around 1600 postgraduates from over 100 different countries, and everyone who accepts a place at Ustinov is automatically a member.
The role of the GCR is to promote and protect the interests of its members by:
To this end, the GCR has its own governing body made up of elected members of the student population. The responsibilities of these elected officers, along with the GCR's aims and objectives, rules and regulations, are outlined in the GCR Constitution and Standing Orders
The quality of life at Ustinov relies heavily upon student participation and involvement. Whether you run for a GCR position, join a sports team, or frequent the bar and coffee shop, you're contributing to the Ustinov experience!
