C&S Update – cw5+6 – GRADUATE COMMON ROOM

Since the snow weekend resulted in a large number of cancelled matches, I decided to bundle up two weeks in one update. Here are the results from the past two weeks!

cw6 results — Results of the Ustinov matches in cw4+5.

Congrats to our Pool, Badminton, Men’s Football, and Women’s Hockey teams for their victories!!

For the Ustinov clubs & societies, the two major events in these two weeks were our Chinese New Year Formal and our Clubs & Societies Fair Vol. 2. Many members of our Hairstyle and Lifestyle society helped to organise entertainment during the Chinese New Year Formal.

With three unique Chinese performances, the entertainment at the formal dinner was definitely very unusual and interesting for all attendants!

This past Sunday, shortly after our Women’s Hockey team’s triumph, we hosted a second Clubs & Societies Fair in Ustinov bar. Most of our teams and societies sent representatives to recruit new members.

While the attendance from potential recruits was not huge, the members of different clubs and societies still had a good time spending an afternoon together!

Calendar week 6 is a very full one for Ustinov. Good luck to all our teams competing!

This week’s featured match is the Ultimate Frisbee match Ustinov vs Castle! Check out the Facebook event if you are interested in watching! This is a great opportunity to learn more about a very fun sport!
