Good morning lovely Ustinovians! I hope you are all feeling great for this last week of term. If you are struggling with deadlines (as I am), then keep going… you are almost there! I believe in you! The morning is here, sunshine is here and the sky is clear. In such a good day, why not take a break and indulge yourself in this final newsletter of the term!
Ustinov Silent Disco
The end of term and St.Patrick’s Day celebrations will be happening this Friday(22nd of March) in Sheraton bar. There will be another… SILENT DISCO!!! Come along and join us for a belated St Patricks day party! Be sure to wear something green, I hear we will even be getting some themed drinks so don’t miss out! Find more information here.
Durham University Classical Ensemble
Durham University Classical Ensemble would like to invite you, and anyone from the college who may be interested, in attending our Epiphany Term concert, which is happening today evening, at 7:30pm in St Oswald’s Church.
We are playing repertoire including Lully, Rebel, Bach, and Beethoven and would love to have you there! Our conductor, Bruno Needham, is a member of Ustinov College, and it would be wonderful to have fellow students and staff from Ustinov supporting him! You can find more information here.
Summer Ball
The biggest and fanciest formal in Ustinov: summer ball will be happening on 6th of June. The GCR committee members is hard at work getting the fine details of the summer ball all finalized. So, keep 6th June free if at all possible to make sure you don’t miss out on good weather, good company, and good times. Tickets will go on sale closer to the date once more details have been released.
Photo of The Week

“Before my bed a pool of night
Can it be hoarfrost on the ground
Looking up, I find the moon bright
Bowing, in homesickness I’m drowned”
