After a fantastic year in 2022/2023, the GCR is going to be even bigger and better this year. A GCR levy is now just £50 and gives you access to so many fantastic perks!

This GCR Membership gets you:
- Voting rights in GCR elections/ at General Meetings
- Early bird booking access to all our formals and big events (for example formals like Castle typically sell out on the day they open, without a GCR membership you can be left disappointed and miss some of the biggest social events of the year!)
- Reduced price tickets for events and trips: GCR members pay less for our formals and Summer Ball (for example the Summer Ball ticket is £8 cheaper for GCR members)
- Reduced gym price: the gym is £40 for GCR members, £70 for non-GCR members
- Exclusive GCR member trips (such as Raby Castle) and other perks throughout the year
- Access to games consoles, board games and other fantastic things the GCR has invested in
- Access to Music Room and instruments (drum kit, piano, keyboard, electric and acoustic guitars, bass)
The levy is also used to fund all our events throughout the year, including parties, live music, trips, our Summer Ball and Ustinov Day! It also funds our clubs and societies and helps with our provision of welfare support and supplies. We also use it to fund upkeep and improvements to our facilities – like pool tables, gym equipment and a refurbishment to the bar.
